Infinite Universes
1st 1/2024
2nd 1/2026
The exhibition project Infinite Universes – Czech Games and Their Global Success initiated by the Czech Centres and produced in cooperation with a wide range of partners aims to introduce contemporary Czech games in all their complexity – not only by showcasing the individual games, but also by presenting the creative process, focusing on selected elements that define the studios and their approach to the chosen theme, or their connection to artistic and educational practices.
The Infinite Universes project presents Czechia as a major player in computer game development. Czech developers are recognised worldwide for their hard work and creativity. They have brought new ideas and defined some of the genres. Czech computer game industry has surpassed the film industry in terms of financial success and popularity in the mainstream media. The exhibition showcases successful projects as well as smaller, promising games that are artistically valuable for their drawing, animation and music.
The exhibition title stands for the desire of the developers to create diverse game worlds without borders. The game developers have created original, unconventional game universes that offer limitless possibilities for exploration and immersion into virtual worlds. Immerse yourself in a fascinating fusion of art, entertainment and technology!
